Let me state at the outset that my children are no longer in school and i am not originally from this area. What I find sad is the total disregard for the needs of our area schools and the willingness of some to discard those employed by the school system. This includes teachers, custodians, bus drivers, secretaries and administrators. Schools whose classrooms are already overloaded will see an increase in students making the task of teaching even more difficult. If there are some under the belief that you will save on your taxes by voting this levy down please consider the pain you are inflicting on those who work for the school system and will now be on unemployment (which your taxes will help support.
