Seven of the nine members of the grand jury need to vote as to whether there exists probable cause to bring an indictment. A regular jury in a criminal case must determine guilt based on beyond a reasonable doubt, a higher level of confidence a crime was committed. Cosgrove said the grand jury does not determine the guilt or innocence of a person.

Anyone can see there is probable cause....someone probably did not report the crime; someone supplied the liquor; someone permitted it to be in their home; someone had to be responsible for their child....

Being sensitive because one believes the county was tortured because of the case....the girl was tortured much much much more than the county could ever think they were tortured.

How does an "unbiased" court person come up with that statement????? At this point.

I have confidence in the grand jury system. Our only interest is the truth, and, along with that, what is fair to the residents of the county. We are not interested in having a circus. We are not interested in violating anyone's rights. We are not interested in harassing and embarrassing people."

How about RAPE? Where does that fit into this person interest in being truthful and fair? Was that harassing or embarrassing?

The area has suffered, and we will come out of it, because that's what we do in tough situations, But the honest truth needs to prevail, crimes punished, and the innocent and guilty all learn a lesson as to what is good and just.

Respect and character need to be the keys to the future.

I can't wait to see your scumbag Coach Sac who laughed about the rape and said he would take care of it, and the many school officials sitting in the chair before the grand jury trying to explain why they failed to act to protect the victim by reporting what they knew instead of covering it up. Also, those who supplied the alcohol and houses for the acts to occur. They all should spend a goodly amount of jail time for what they didn't do. Jane Doe deserves as much from our Ohio justice system.
