Good point, but not surprising from this school. This phony balony religious school is a far cry from the school established for mill workers by Bishop Mussio and the schools founding fathers. These nutcase zealots frequently (and exclusively) honor such rightwing brownshirts and homophobes such as Rick Santorum (man who despises gays and alternative lifestyles & Newt Gingrich (great religious guy who dumped his cancer stricken wife for a floozy while still married...both of these horrible human beings received high honors from the university and now they are set to honor another Bush "toadie." Oh yea...dont forget Allen Keyes, just to the right of mussolini who also was awarded by Padre Henry, Scanlon and their ilk. Typical religious double standards and Fransican U. claptrap. No...I am not surprised they support big oil & gas and the Tea Bag backers.....they are all of the same nature as "Elmer Gantry."

We need to ask these GOP insiders how they can condone the funding by big gas and oil of candidates. Contamination is officially a sin according to the Catholic Church and the contamination is causing miscarriages, cancer and lung failure. If we are to protect life we had better stop the take over of Jefferson County by exploitation that leaves death and destruction behind. If you are faithful you will obey the Church.
