I hope that the Grand Jury will be dealing with the coaches, school, Police dept. and the Sheriff; all of whom seem to be implicated in corruption and cover up.

Yes, a visiting judge will end the coverup in Steubenville and allow the grand jury to indite all those who were involved in the rape parties or cover up that followed by the coaches and the community leaders who failed the victim and justice will be achieved. Go forward with your grand jury AG DeWine and clean out all those vermin in Steubenville.

A visiting judge will hopefully assure fairness.

beagle, wake up. There was nothing close to reasonable doubt and it would not have even reached a preponderance in any court that was not out for the support of an insane mob!

See! Judge Joe is the brother of Attorney Frank who was in the same law firm as Prosecutor Jane who took two weeks to recuse herself from case because her son Charlie is on the same football team as the two defendents Ma'lik and Trent. One just needs to connect the dots. In the legal profession, judges, prosecutors and attorneys are ethically bound to "avoid even the appearance of a conflict of interest." This has not happened in Steubenville, Folks!!!

It's pretty sad the county can't even trust it's own justice system and has to have outside judges. It's time to clean house.

Alchemy - you are a real piece of work...or perhaps a relative of one of the guilty rapists! There was proof beyond a reasonable doubt that rapes occurred. What is more heinous is your attitude and those adults in the school and coaching system who may have hid evidence, failed to report a felony, and continue to look at this as a "boys will be boys" case of childsplay. WAIT TILL THE GRAND JURY INDICTMENTS BEGIN TO FLOW AND THE CIVIL LAWSUITS....THEN IT WILL BE SADLY REFLECTED THE DEPTH OF THE DEPRAVITY OF THIS CASE ON A LARGE SCALE. AS I have stated...the coaching staff should be suspended and the next season cancelled. BTW...what teams will want to play the "Rape Crew?" Could it be it may be hard to find opponents? If McVey had anything under his jockstrap, he would cancel the season; however, being a dimwit ex-jock himself, he sides with the degenerates.

Dewine, Anonymous, the judges, the prosecutors, all of the "womens" special interest groups, and the media, all of which get money and power over these things are the real criminals in this matter.

To any would be "threats" of the weirton girl. First please refer to my comments under the "judge remanded" article. As seen there I allude that I don't usually give kindergarten lectures to government worshippers. However, for the sake of the rightfully angry I hope to assure the anger is pointed in the right direction. You must consider that with a girl in a situation like that who may have something for all these gropus to make a field day over for their power and money, and that includes the prosecution and justice system, they isolate the girl first of all with a court order. Then you have all these sweet talking witches groups counseling her, grooming her for their cause. They in fact manipulate her mind to be as great a prosecution witness as possible. A kid that age is also going to be very intimidated to believe or say whatever they want her to. So those of you who know the truth of the case you should realize she is alo a victim of the system.
