I wonder if this is the same Jimmy Bloomer that grew up on Wellesley Avenue in Steubenville. If so, he was my neighber and we spent our teenage years hanging out, although he went to Big Red and I went to Central. I remember when be bought his first car, a stick shift Ford with straight pipes, in which we spent many an evening cruising and looking for girls. He had a very cute little sister, Suzy, who rode bikes with us occasionally. After college I moved to Chicago and lost track of Jimmy and his family. I was very sad to hear of his passing and regret that I never made contact with him to share our life's experiences.
