Tom I hate to tell you nobody comes to town whether business or for new residence isn't because of racist city. It because the city is infested w welfare trash and gang bangers selling and using drugs. This town has too much welfare housing which brings noting positive to the town.

TomSays, Your an idiot. The city does not discriminate against anyone! We got Mayo and Miss Wiggins to keep us straight. ****...... Its the entitlement that actually makes me mad. No one is entitled to anything, but to breath. Maybe you are one of the entitled ones?

Not only does Steubenville city leadership coverup rapes, but it openly discriminates against African Americans too. How sad that such a city exists in this day and age. It's no doubt why it's economy has gone down the proverbial toilet. Businesses do not want to be where racism exists.

I am going to go out on a limb and say , bust my balls if ya want but..... I am tired of the entitlement black people feel they should have. If things do not go their way then they yell racism, discrimination or my civil rights were violated. Give it up! LIFE is an equal opportunity employer. I don't care if you are yellow, black , white or green . I could be black for all you know, but you don't, cause I do not throw that racism card out when things do not go my way!

I knew this was going to happen. Black VS white ! white person got the job not the black! give it a break! It doesn't matter what color you are "We were the lowest paid workers in the city. We never got a raise in the years I was there - I worked there nine years with no raise - but we did four jobs: secretary, recreation aide, tutoring and senior citizens bingo and janitor."

You did your job, plain and simple. No one has be given a raise in the city either, who are union, join the club!. And we do other jobs also. No shaft was given , it went according to contract. I don't understand why you are saying your civil rights were violated and was discriminated against. You are part time and that is how it goes. Next are you going to say racism? WHY do "Blacks" have to work at the MLK center? what does this have to do with your job? Is it written somewhere that the city has to hire black people to work at the MLK or hire White people to work at the health dept? H
