I really think the Pontiff felt all the pressure about Notre Dame losing the National Championship to Alabama.

There must have been a lot of dicussion why the real Holy Water wasn't in the water buckets at the game.

The local news did not cover that story for some reason, but it hit the national news big time.

Some tried to blame Obama, but the Pope decided to take the heat off him and just resigned.

When asked about ther liklihood of a coverup or others being involved the legal staff referred it to another agency.

More to come on the story at a later date.

Pope Benedict made several apologies to victims who were sexually abused by clerics, etc, within the Catholic church, yet to this day, he has taken no decisive actions to punish any high ranking church official for enabling, empowering, and covering up sex crimes against innocent kids.

Many should have been fired. Just to name a few.. --Cardinal Law, who was given a plush job in the Vatican --Bishop Finn, who is a convicted criminal is still the bishop of the KC-St Joe diocese --Cardinal Mahony, horrific cover up of sex crimes per thousands of recently released LA Archdiocese secret documents

We hope there is someone within the college of Cardinals who could be a pope with integrity, who will start to take immediate actions to stop these crimes against humanity.

Children are safest when child predators and those who enable and conceal their crimes are held responsible.
