Here is my two cents.

Hire the investigator. That way nobody can say that the trial was rigged, or unfair.

If they are found guilty, the parents pay the bill.

If they are acquitted, the county picks up the tab.

Perhaps the Steubenville Big Red Football Boosters can pay for the private eye? Hey, these high rollers from business owners to public figures should be able to afford the bill rather than passing the buck on the unwilling taxpayers.

Can't wait till the trial in March. The town will have so many news people & vehicles, it would look like the good ole days as the world will have more laughs at the community mind think of high school football trumps all, including heinous crimes! RRR = Rape Red Rape !!

And the saga continues..........

How can many in this area swallow so much ????????????

Alledged victim????? WHAT???

Alledged defendants??????? WHAT???

Delayed local news coverage??????? WHY?

Too many unanswered questions???????

Remember this:

"Character is what you are willing to do when the spotlight has been turned off, the applause is over, and no one is around to give you credit."

Our students seem to lack "character".

And "If you always do what you've always done; you"ll get what you've always got."

That goes for thinking too.

Let's fix this for the future, please.

I wonder if the county will flip the bill for the 16 year old who was arrested for the murders in Steubenville today. I'm sure he could use $2500 towards his legal team travel expenses for all the dog and pony shows on the west and east coast news outlets.
