This past March the levy lost by 532 votes. This November it lost by 669. 5,274 voted against it. Beside an additional cost to the district, $2,000 to $3,000, what is there to be gained? Could it be they hope some who voted against the levy would not take part thereby securing voter participation more favorable to their supporters? Would this be a fair representation of the district? The 5,274 who casted their ballot against the levy should be very angry that Superintendent Rocchi and the board discarded their vote. No one should have that right.
