automan: as an aside, teacher's salaries not bad at all, comparatively speaking, in our now impoverished valley(post steel era) good benefits, weekends, seasonal vacations plus summer off. Great gig if you can get it.

Teachers salary, are you kidding? And, the scum bag athelete comment was uncalled for as well. Obviously you have jockenvy but let us remember that we are dealing with innocent children here and whether or not they are atheletes(as is jane doe) is not relevent.

This is really crappy reporting. They don't even tell us why the judge ruled as he did. Luckily I get my news elsewhere. Also....the trial was continued until MARCH dumb ass.

Now the victim will get an open, fair trial. No more coverups. These scumbag athletes will now get what is coming to them and everyone will know what they did to this poor girl. Rape is rape.

This is good that the trial will be open to the public, then the full truth can be exposed.

To the young victim: We hope you can stay strong. you know your truth and we hope you know that thousands who have been raped and molested are standing with you in spirit.

It is time that victims, of sex crimes, voice's are heard.

SNAP was founded in 1988 and has more than 12,000 members. Despite the word priest in our title, we have members who were molested by religious figures of all denominations, including nuns, rabbis, bishops, teachers, Protestant ministers and increasingly, victims who were assaulted in a wide range of institutional settings like orphanages, summer camps, athletic programs, Boy Scouts, etc."

As per the open court and intimidation by the "Entity" AKA Anomoymous. This "entity" has compromised the computer's of Stubenville, and the Jefferson County law enforcement, going as far as releasing "Jane Doe" identity. Upon becoming involved with this case, crucial non disclosed evidence has now become public domain. The "entity" released personal information on Officer's, only to boast how "they" ordered 30 pizza's, from the identification. Is this an act of intimidation or needless public harassment ? Why should a business owner carry the burden of expense on behalf of this "entity" when he/she has absolutely nothing to do with this or our town ! This same "entity" boasts hacking government, private and commercial sites, but ultimately who pays the price, taxpayers ! Stop and think for a second, why would a "group" of legal abiding citizens, hide behind a mask out of fear of recognition ! Leave our town a

Per WTOV9..."Aside from the continuance, the only other motion that was granted was Madison's request for the court to pay for a private investigator to look into the matter further on behalf of Madison's client." WHAT the heck? why? I think the adults involved have the money to pay for this.*****they went to California, who paid for his way there? Just keep milking steubenville for all it is worth.. If his birth parents can't cover it, I do know the other two responsible for him can. Teachers salary, school board member and banker. hummmmm
