Edison will be paying over $18,000 to put this special election on the ballot.....

The BOE must have "Money to Burn"...

Did Wal_Mart get another tax abatement????

Don't forget Certified and Classified contracts are due to be renegotiated this year....

Wonder what type of increase the BOE will give after the levy is approved..

I guess the BOE can use the $37,000 of tax revenue they will receive from the tax on Ohio Casino's to pay to put the levy on the ballot....

Please show up to vote "NO!" People of the Edison Local district, you are one of the few districts that have more tax payers than tax consumers, you folks can make your voice heard and not have it drowned out by the hoarde of welfare bums seeking to vote their hand into your wallet.

How crooked is this, we all voted it down in November. No different than the rest of the bloated Government attempts to fund the already over paid under worked Government Employees. I thought Obama already bailed out your bloated pension plans at our expense. Before you vote. Don't Forget to check the OHIO BUCKEYE INSTITUTE TEACHERS SALARY website.

While it is easy to want to vote down this upcoming levy, let me assure you of its need. What is in store should the levy fail? A school will be shut down, at least 8 bus route will cease, pay to play will continue for the sports programs, the art classes and P.E. classes will cease to exsist. These are the least of the worries. I don't discount the fact that all of us are already overtaxed (thanks to our money hungry government, both dems and repubs) but this is a necessity. I have been a substitue teacher in this area and in other counties and states (such as Florida), believe me when I say that the teaching conditions are bad and the schools in need of repair. Before casting an automatic No, rethink the opportunities that you were given in your education, these kids the same chance we had growing up.

The problem is not with how much revenue the district is getting, it is with how much the districts spends...

How long will the 9.45 mill levey last the district??? 2, 3, 4 years??

Edison residents already pay the highest effective millage in Jefferson county for operations (not new buildings) of their school district...

Yes we should vote. Vote NO! I think the deceptive and sleazy way they try to get this levy passed that has failed 3 times now is reprehensible. I got news for them this has been tried before and has failed. How much is this special election going to cost the tax payers? I will not vote for any school board member that has a proved this. Funny the school board won't say how they voted for this, so don't vote for any incumbent.

Tell everyone you know that they are trying to sneak in the levy again and get them out to vote. NO!

Moteman-Once again, the board vote was done at a board meting and is public record. The board voted UNANIMOUSLY 5-0 to put the levy back on the ballot. The board is hiding nothing. We know you dont support the levy and that is fine. However, please dont make accusations that are 100% wrong.
