BROOKOVER, Violet “Doll,” 75, of New Cumberland, W.Va., passed away on September 4, 2008. She was a former nurse’s aide at the WV University Hospital. She is survived by two daughters; two sons; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2008.
