Priests will be missed
To the editor: Last Sunday, St. Francis Church in Toronto was filled with parishioners from St. Francis and St. Joseph churches to say goodbye to all three of our priests. The Rev. Vincent Huber, after serving 44 years of dedicated ministry to the people of the Diocese of Steubenville and 22 years in Toronto, is retiring. Huber has been a big part of our lives, serving at both churches. Thank you and may you have a long and healthy retirement. The Rev. Dan Heusel has been with us for six years and, for a young priest, has made a lasting impression on all of us at both churches. We will miss you Father Dan. Monsignor Kurt Kemo also is leaving us. Our loss is Wintersville’s gain. For 25 years Monsignor Kurt has been with us at both churches in Toronto. It’s hard to say goodbye to a priest such as Monsignor Kurt. Our former priest, Bishop Roger Foys, who also was with us for a long time, taught Kemo quite well. As I said, it is hard to say goodbye to a great group of priests such as
