Christmas Weekend Movies

December 22, 2011 - Brandi Bowers

With lots of TV channels comes lots of Christmas programming for this weekend. So, get ready couch potatoes. If you're looking to catch some Christmas tv shows & movies (maybe even a marathon or two), you can check out the following channels: ABC, NBC, CW, ABC Family, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, TBS, TNT, TCM, Hallmark, LMN, TV Land, BET, Hub, Disney, FX, USA, Fox, BBC America & HGTV.

I also found some great movies on this weekend...

Friday: ABC Family – National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at 6pm (MY PERSONAL FAVORITE!)
ABC Family – How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) at 8pm
Disney – The Search for Santa Paws

Saturday: ABC – The Sound of Music at 7pm (not sure why this is under Christmas, but it's popular)
NBC – It’s A Wonderful Life at 8pm (a classic)
TBS – A Christmas Story at 8pm (rerun for 24 hours - great background for opening presents)

Sunday: ABC – How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon) at 8pm (another classic)
ABC – How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) at 8:30pm
ABC Family – The Polar Express at 8pm
Comedy Central – Just Friends at 6pm
Comedy Central – Bad Santa at 8pm (make sure the kids are out of the room for this one)
FX – Alvin and the Chipmunks at 5pm Hub – The Muppet Christmas Carol at 5pm
USA – Elf at 8pm (I just like to smile, smiling's my favorite.)

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays & Happy TV Watching!!!
PS. If you happen to catch Scrooged, Home Alone or The Holiday, make sure to watch those as well (and message me)!
