| | Super Epic BedJune 29, 2011 - Eddie KokosinskiCouples fall in love. Couples move in together. Couples sleep in the same bed, usually a full, queen or king size. Ever heard of a couple that sleeps in the same bed for 6 years or so and then they get a new bed, but one of them hates the new bed, and just pushes the beds together to make a "super epic bed?" To put it into perspective - I'm about 6 foot tall and the bed makes me feel like I'm only 4. It's roughly 8 ft x 7 ft, if not more. Sure we start out sleeping on the middle crease together, but by 3 am, I'm corner to corner on my side and she's sprawled out like a homicide victim in an alley. Sure it takes away a good chunk of our bedroom space. But that just means we have to do laundry more often to keep it clean. It's also been the best 2 nights of sleep I've had back to back with her in bed since....ever really. So maybe it's something to think about if you have the space in your bedroom and your partner likes to put her knee in your back for 6 to 8 hours a night. It's a weird change of pace, but I think its working out and I don't ever see going back to one bed if I have the chance to double up. Plus, if you get lonely on your side, you can always go visit for a bit before you roll back to your place. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
