Opening Day

Pirates start their season on Friday, April Fools Day. Perfect day to make a statement right? Honestly, I hope they do good. Truthfully, I can't name their Opening Day roster. McCutchen, Walker, Tabata, Alvarez, Doumit(?) and probably Overbay (and that was a good 4 minute thought process on who is on the team). I know Maholm is the home opener, but I can't name the opening day starter.

So what's gonna happen? What do you know and what do you hope for?

I know that he did mediocre for pitching in a pitchers park. I know they are picked to finish last in the league. I know that there will be close games they win and blowouts on both sides.

I hope they do good. I hope they get to 75 wins (it'd be a a start). I hope they fool all of us.
