There is no better high school season than football season. One game a week = much anticipation from fans on both sides of the field. Whether your favorite football team is 0-9 or 9-0 or anywhere between, Week 10 means a finality of sorts. For teams going to the playoffs, it means the end of the regular season and a new chapter begins -- the playoffs. For teams that will not make those playoffs, Week 10 means the end of a season that began forever ago. It's the end of those workouts that began not long after the end of last season. Two-a-days are long in the rear view mirror, but the finality of putting on the pads one last time hits players in many different ways. Some kids do not want to take those pads off and some kids will do so rather quickly. So, fans, where are you in Week 10? Are you supporting those kids as much now as you did in Week 1? Or, are you glad the season is over? Regardless of your answer, there is no reason why you cannot sit in the stands Friday or Saturday and actually be a GOOD fan.
