The Two Coreys Tribute

March 11, 2010 - Brandi Bowers

Yesterday I read the unfortunate news of actor Corey Haim's death. He died from an apparent drug overdose. He had been struggling with drugs for years, but friends say he was in the best shape he'd ever been & finally getting his life together.

Everyone is still waiting on the full report, but whatever the case is, I thought that in honor of Corey Haim & '80s fans everywhere, this week's blog should be about The Two Coreys. The late '80s saw actors/bestfriends Corey Haim & Corey Feldman as two of the biggest teen idols.

Haim, most noted for the movie, Lucas, and Feldman, most noted for the movie, The Goonies (one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time!), worked together on movies & tv shows. Their biggest movies together were The Lost Boys & License to Drive. The Lost Boys is a great movie & the original teen vampire flick (so take that Twilight)! License to Drive is a typical, yet funny '80s comedy about a boy who, despite flunking his driver's test, still takes his grandfather's car out to impress a girl (it's always to impress a girl, lol). Haim & Feldman made a great team & were not only friends on set, but off as well. Feldman even spoke about Haim last night on Larry King Live & reminded everyone he was a great person and not to jump to any conclusions about his death.

So, here are some pictures of Corey Haim & Corey Feldman. Did you enjoy their movies or have their posters on your wall? Let me know.
