Many helped with Laman party
To the editor:
The 40th-annual Ray Laman Children’s Christmas Party, held Dec. 15 at the Wintersville Volunteer Fire Department, was another huge success. All those attending enjoyed the sing-along with guitarist Kenny Wells and danced with Frosty, Rudolph and Mrs. Claus before the arrival of Santa. Children received a free photo with Santa, gift bags of toys and a treat bag of fruit, snacks, coupons and toys.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generous donations and ask that all reading this will patronize the businesses — without these merchants and caring citizens, this annual event would not be possible: American Legion Post 557; Tri-State Financial Services; Signs Ltd.
