Mingo Services says thanks

To the editor:

As director of Mingo Social Services, a unit of the United Way, we would like to say thanks for all of the generous donations we received for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We had more than 325 for each distribution.

We would like to thank Riesbeck’s, the Wal-Mart Distribution Center, St. Agnes Church, Harmony United Methodist Church, St. Andrew’s Russian Orthodox Church, St. John’s Byzantine Church, Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church, Harmony Methodist Women’s Club, Brilliant United Methodist Women’s Club, St. Agnes Women’s Club, McBane Insurance, Wheeler Funeral Home, Mingo Pharmacy, Hills Elementary School, Indian Creek Elementary School, Parkview Inn, Softite Credit Union, Dollar General and the Schutzen Club, as well as all of the individuals from Ohio, Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania.

Thanks to all of the volunteers, including Pastor Sam Davis, Judy Eddy, Denise Bennington, Eileen Nestor, Kim Crugnale, Christy Wheeler, Champ Harper, Tom Gentile, Jim McClung, Ken and Dorothy Mazik, Chuck McBride, Harry and Kathy Brockway, Cathy DiBenedetto and all of her honor students, Randy DiCarlo, Cathy Risdon, Joyce White, Barbara Kaufman, Linda Caputo, Fire Chief John Wright and his crew, Police Chief Joe Sagun and his crew, Tim Eddy and his crew and the Herald-Star for all it does for the communities.
