Visitors found city enjoyable

To the editor:

My wife and I recently made the trip to Steubenville to attend the annual Dean Martin Festival.

We were greeted and welcomed with a friendly warmth by everyone we met.

Naples Spaghetti House, the Microtel Motel, Plain Jane’s and the Spot Bar all displayed a courtesy and willingness-to-help attitude that is seldom found while traveling. The festival itself was great fun, but it was the people and business owners of Steubenville that made our trip worth the effort.

A special thanks to American Legion Post 274 for the exceptional welcome given us.

Thank you, Steubenville, for making our first trip to the festival remarkable.

We hope to see all our new friends again next year.
