To the editor:

On Sept. 21, the AIM Women’s Center hosted a walk and 5K fun run for life. In spite of the rain, more than 131 supporters were in attendance. We would like to thank everyone involved in helping make our event a great success. We exceeded our goal. We raised more than $19,000.

We are indebted to Mayor Domenick Mucci and the City of Steubenville for the use of the Jim Wood Park facility.
