Toronto Legion tourney a success

To the editor:

I would like to thank everyone involved in making our annual golf scramble a success. This year’s event was held at Beaver Creek Meadows Golf Course on July 24. Our event honors the memory of Ron “Mr. Food” Ferrell, who served as general manager of our Legion baseball team for many years and continues to be missed by all who knew him.

We wish to thank the staff at Beaver Creek Meadows for hosting our event. A special thanks to Buzzy Kalivoda, the scramble committee, the cooks, bartenders, servers and the Post 86 Women’s Auxiliary.
