Howard Fullwood

Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, Almighty God in His infinite wisdom closed the eyes of our beloved brother, Howard Lee Fullwood and whispered: “Peace Be Still.”

Howard was Christian by faith. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio, April 5, 1941, to the late Gatewood C. Fullwood and Velma M. Wheeler. He graduated from Steubenville High School in 1959. He joined the United States Army on August 18, 1959, he served the 101st Airborne Division, where he served as a Paratrooper during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. He was also a member of the American Legion David Walker Post #247, Steubenville.

He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Earl Fullwood.

Surviving are two brothers, James (Gerri) Fullwood of Steubenville, and Michael (Kim) Fullwood of Hyattsville, MD; four sisters, Janice Fullwood of Steubenville, Michele Solomon of Columbus, Ohio; Joan Holmes of Beril, NJ and Christina Smith of Sicklerville, NJ; a daughter, Karissa King of Steubenville; two grandchildren, Bryce Gaston of Steubenville and Raven Kelley United States Navy PS3.
