Richard Shannon
Richard Ralph Shannon, 66, of Steubenville passed peacefully in the comfort of his home with his family, who had been providing him with constant loving care, at his side. He had been diagnosed with cancer only six months earlier.

He had developed a very deep faith and worshiped at the River Christian Fellowship in Empire, where he was a member of the ministry team.
A very athletic man, Rick loved to watch and participate in many different sports, especially softball.
He married his soulmate, Garnet Jones, on May 7, 2011, and she survives at home in Steubenville.
