Sharon (Dobzynski) Hibbits, 59, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, died September 23, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born March 1, 1957 to surviving Leo Richard and late Judith Ann (Stephenson) Dobzynski.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Lillian Stephenson.

Sharon is survived by her high school sweetheart of 38 years, Ronald Hibbits; one son, Jason (Sarah) Hibbits of Sky Valley Ga.; one daughter, Sarah (Charlie) Hayes of Bloomingdale; and one grandchild, Le’Asia Marie Hawkins; twin sister, Karen Dobzynski, of Steubenville; a sister, Mary Beth Dobzynski of Steubenville; brother, Richard (Robin) Dobzynski, Virginia; sister, Lynn (Al) Uhrich, St. Clairsville, Aunt Martha (Rienzi) Remitio of Washington. Also nieces, nephew, and cousins.

Sharon loved to bake cakes for Weddings, Candy, Pizzelles and famous cashew butter toffee. She loved her children and would go out of her way for them. She was the executive director of the YWCA, worked at United Way, Huntington Bank, Neighborhood House Board, and the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce.

Friends will be received at the Schuetz Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Ave., Mingo Junction on Monday September 26, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., with services on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Hukill officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.

In lieu of flowers donation to the “Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research, or to an organization that she was part of.”
