GIANNAMORE, Marjorie I., 90, of Columbus, formerly of Steubenville, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Kobacker House, Columbus.
She was born July 10, 1923, in Harmony, PA. She is the daughter of the late Myrtle V. Eicholtz Smith, and Albert James Smith. Marjorie is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Giannamore Sr.; two sons, an infant John and Richard A.; one brother, William Smith; and one sister, Alberta.
Marjorie was a member of Labelle View Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren as well as crocheting and ceramics.
Surviving are her sons, Bert (Joanne) and Robert, both of FL, and David of Columbus; two sisters, Betty (Pat) Patterson of Marysville, OH, and Carol (Mark) Gilmore of NC; five grandchildren, Cindy (Chuck) Stough, Megan (Bryon) Moore, Robert J. Giannamore, Katherine Giannamore, and Tony Giannamore, and two great-grandchildren.
The family wants to thank all the physicians and nursing staff at OSU MICU for their wonderful care and concern.
Calling hours are Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Monday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, service will be held at the Labelle View Church of Christ 11:30 a.m. Monday, Pastor Tom Arehart will officiate and burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
