Loretta Anne Stefan-Kopko

STEFAN-KOPKO, Loretta Anne (Anne), 69, of Coatesville, PA and Oklahoma City, OK, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014.

She was born in Steubenville, OH, to the late Mary and George Kopko.

Anne graduated from Russell Sage College and the University of Oklahoma. She received bachelors and masters degrees in Public Administration.

Anne spent 25 years working for the Oklahoma State Legislature writing and researching legislative bills.

Anne was a beloved member of her community and could frequently be found walking her dogs around the neighborhood and singing in the local choir. An advocate for social justice and healthy cooking, she helped with the What’s Cooking in Coatesville food program sponsored by the Episcopal Church of the Trinity. Anne was a master at gardening and canning vegetables and fruits.

Anne is survived by two children, Rebecca Pasda of Whitehall, PA and Jeffrey Rinehart, of Downingtown, PA. She is also survived by six granddaughters.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, April 14, at Episcopal Church of the Trinity, 323 E. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville, PA 19320.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the What’s Cooking in Coatesville program, c/o Episcopal Church of the Trinity at the above address.
