Thomas A. Jordan

JORDAN, Thomas A., 75, of Steubenville, died Monday, March 24, 2014, at home, surrounded by his family.

He was born May 10, 1938, in Steubenville, the son of the late Thomas E. and Mary Cicone Jordan, Tom is also preceded in death by his infant son, Thomas A. Jordan, Jr., and his twin brother, Timothy Jordan.

Tom was retired from Weirton Steel strip steel department and was for 53 years the owner/operator of the Thomas A. Jordan Insurance agency and now with the Williams Agency.

Surviving are his wife, Carlotta Orlando Jordan, whom he married Sept. 5, 1959, one son, Joseph T. Jordan (Fiance’ Kelley Gowen) of Palm Harbor, FL, and one daughter, Carlene (Kenneth) Horner, of Steubenville; one sister, Rita (John) Crispino of Springfield, OH; two grandsons, Jesse Fisher and Joseph G. Jordan; one sister-in-law, Lucia Hickman, of Leesburg, FL, two brothers-in-law, Peter (Lois) Orlando of Kent, OH and Thomas (Sue) Orlando of Napa Valley, CA.

Tom was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the Polish Athletic Club and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1956

Calling hours are Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Msgr. Gerald Calovini, celebrant.

Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service 3:45 p.m. Friday.
