SESTO, Fred, 87, of Wintersville died Sunday March 9, 2014, at Valley Hospice.
He was born July 18, 1926, in Virginville, WV, the son of the late James and Caroline Stillson Sesto, Fred is also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Cowser Sesto.
Fred was retired from the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel locomotive shop, was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church, and served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Surviving are one son, James (Anne) Sesto of Coral Springs, FL and one daughter, Ellen Cebula of Wintersville; one brother, Romeo Sesto of San Diego, CA.; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m. a the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
