THOMPSON, Linda Fullum, was born January 6, 1949, in Steubenville, OH.
She was the daughter of the late Wilbert W. and Beatrice Harris Fullum. She departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2014.
Mrs. Thompson was the program manager at Stanton Group Home until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Smithfield, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce D. Fullum.
She is survived by her brother, Harry H. Harris of Smithfield and cousin, Bruce Carr and wife, Faith of Dayton, OH; one son, Chad Fullum and wife, Tasha of Youngstown, OH; two daughters, JaCinda Martinez and husband Julio of Maryland and Ashley Brett and husband Adam of Boardman, OH; four granddaughters, Jasmine Martinez, Julie Martinez, Avari Brett and Alivia Brett; five grandsons, Jovan Martinez, Julio Martinez, Chad Jashon Fullum, Tiler Fullum and Greg Marsh; devoted niece, Kelly Harris of Columbus, and nieces, Sarah and Hannah Carr of Dayton, OH; nephews, Kent Harris of Emmaus, PA and Drew Carr of Dayton, OH; great niece and nephew, Kiara and Malcolm Harris of PA; great nephew, James Cornell ‘Riley’ McGee of Columbus; good friend, Lewis Thompson of Smithfield.
Visitation for Linda was held on Saturday, February 8, 2014, from 10 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at noon at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home, 107 Hill St., in Smithfield, OH. Rev. Melody Essex presided over the service and burial followed in Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH.
