WIRGAU, Margaret, 78, of Weirton, passed away November 24, 2013 ,at Valley Hospice in Steubenville.
Born on March 6, 1935, in Jersey City, N.J., she graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS Degree in Chemistry and Botany. She was also a longtime member of the Pittsburgh Doll Club and the International Doll Makers Association.
Preceded in death by her mother, Clara (Schwollow) Richter and stepfather, Frank Richter, who lived in Ridgefield Park, N.J.
Margaret was a devoted wife of 60 years to her husband, Robert Wirgau, and a loving mother to her children, Larry Wirgau and his wife, Cristi, of Derby, KS, Derek Wirgau and his wife, Elena, of Dallas, TX, and Lizette (Wirgau) Edwards and her husband, Earl (Barney) Edwards of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by her brother, Karl Rohlfs and his wife, Evi, of Ridgefield Park, N.J. Also many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Turley’s Funeral Home in New Cumberland, is handling the interment details and the Memorial services will be at a later date, some time in early spring.
