DRAZIC, Elizabeth Jean Roberts “Betty” 84, of Steubenville, died Monday, August 26, 2013, at Life Line Hospital and was reunited with her husband.
She was born May 11, 1929, in Steubenville, she is the daughter of the late Leonard and Gertrude Schillings Roberts: Betty is also preceded in death by her husband, Louis C. Drazic, four brothers, Leonard, Richard, William, and James Roberts, and seven sisters, Gail Reese, Sally Eicher, Dorothy Arce, Jackie Jones, Patricia Behl, Grace Douglas, and Evelyn Lois Roberts, and an infant great-grandson, Ayden Drazic
Betty was a retired nurse’s aide from the former Ohio Valley Hospital after 32 years of service and was a member of the Labelle View Church of Christ.
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey (Pam) Drazic of Mingo Jct. and her daughter, Linda (Russell) Cutri of Mingo Jct.; two grandchildren, Jason (Lorrie) Drazic and Tiffany Drazic; three great-grand children, Madison Elizabeth Drazic, Tessa Lynn Drazic, and Matthew Drazic. Her best friend, Lydia Contra also survives.
Betty was a member of the Grand Theater Restoration Project, Historic Fort Steuben and the Women of the Moose Chapter 746, Weirton.
Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville and on Friday at Labelle View Church of Christ 11 a.m. until the time of services at 12 Noon, Rev. George Irvin, Jr. will officiate and burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
