BOGGIA, Mary Louise, 88, of Steubenville, died Wednesday June 5, 2013 at home.
She was born June 25, 1924 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Joseph DeLaurentis and Marianne Lucian DeLaurentis Pompa.
Mary Louise is also preceded in death by her husband, Bart Boggia; brothers, Joseph Pompa, Frank Pompa and Albert Pompa; one sister, Mary Linton; and her step-father, Daniel Pompa.
Mary Louise was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, was retired from the former University of Steubenville, where she was the Head of Student Health for 10 years, she also worked at the former Ohio Valley Hospital.
Surviving are her sons, Frank (Ann) Boggia of Steubenville and Bart (Cindy) Boggia of Brilliant; her daughter, Cindy (Pat) Burke of Burlington, KY; two brothers, Vincent DeLaurentis of TX and Dominic “Mimi” (Helen) DeLaurentis of Steubenville; one sister, Betty (Doc) Rogers of Toronto; five grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren.
Calling hours are Sunday 2-6 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.
A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated noon Monday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman celebrant. Entombment at Resurrection Mausoleum Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service at 5:45 p.m.
