William Rex

REX, William “Bill,” 63, of Toronto, OH, passed away of natural causes at his home on Saturday, April 20, 2013.

Bill was born November 3, 1949, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Charles and Helen Mildner Rex.

Bill was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Toronto and the American Legion Post 86. He was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. where he worked as a roll coater. Bill served his country during Vietnam in the U.S. Army.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Rex.

Bill is survived by his three sons: Adam and wife Mian of Charlotte, NC, Mike and fiancee Cacharel of Steubenville, OH, and John Rex of Wintersville, OH; one brother, Charles (Linda) Rex of Chillicothe, OH; and his four grandchildren: Gavin, Wade, Dalton and Caitlyn.

Visitation and Bill’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, at the Cornerstone Church in Toronto, where visiting hours are from 3-7 p.m. followed by his service at 7 p.m. The Rev. Raul Diaz will conduct Bill’s service and military honors will be presented by the Toronto American Legion. Arrangements for Bill are being provided by the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.

Memorial donations may be made in Bill’s memory to the Cornerstone Church, 423 Clark St., Toronto, OH 43964.
