Jean M. DeBellis

DeBELLIS, Jean M., 98, of Steubenville, died Monday, March 4, 2013, at home.

She was born Jan. 24, 1915, in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Dominick and Concetta DiMarzio Mattucci.

Jean is also preceded in death by her husband, Dominic DeBellis; one brother, Phil Mattucci, Sr.; and one daughter, Donna Smarrella.

Jean was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Surviving are her son, Frank DeBellis of Cincinnati; one daughter, Connie (Bob) Krzysiak of Wheeling; seven grandchildren, Karen (Paul) Vahalik, Debbie (John) Colangelo, Pam (Joseph) Walker, Lisa (Michael) Biasi, John (Dawn) DeBellis, Jenna Krzysiak and Amanda (Mike) Kessler; 12 great- grandchildren, Erika Walkosky, Nick and John Christopher Colangelo, Bradley and Nicole Vahalik, Lexi, Malena, Kayla and Anthony Biasi, Dominic DeBellis and Noah and Emma Walker and nephew, Philip Mattucci Jr. of Steubenville.

Calling hours are Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd.

A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated noon Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Msgr. Gerald Calovini, celebrant.

Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service at 7:45 p.m. Friday.
