VOSTATEK, Jodee Kaye, 70, beloved wife, mom and “Memaw” of Fairway Drive, Steubenville, Ohio, formerly of Yorkville, Ohio, died Sunday, February 4, 2013, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio.
She was born on October 14, 1942, in Massillon, Ohio, to the late John and Anna (Malechowski) Fletcher.
She was a member of Finley Methodist Church; a receptionist for 22 years at Trinity Medical Center in Toronto , Ohio; an officer for the Yorkville Alumni Association; a grandmother, “Memaw,” who was very involved with the grandchildren; enjoyed dancing, playing bingo and the slot machines, and making cakes.
Surviving are her devoted husband of 48 years, Franklin “Frank” D. Vostatek; one son, Frankie Jay (Melissa) of Weirton, WV; two daughters, Stephanie Jo Balk of Tiltonsville and Christy Ann Vostatek of Steubenville; a brother, Steve (Kathy) Fletcher of Raleigh, NC; six grandchildren, Louie, Amy, Joey, Jessica, Frankie Dean and Alivia.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Jodee and celebrate her life on Wednesday, February 6, from 2-7 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, Ohio.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Ernst and Rev. Jim Monogioudis.
Burial will follow at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville.
