KRAJCOVIC, Jerome J., 78, of Canton, passed away Tuesday in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born November 7, 1934, in Empire, Ohio, son to the late Peter and Anna (Sutak) Krajcovic.
He proudly served in the United States Army and retired from the Timken Company following 46 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton and he enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John, James and Paul Krajcovic; sister, Bernadette Krajcovic; and great-granddaughter Katrina.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Theresa (Carouthers) Krajcovic; children, Jerome (Donna) Krajcovic II of Canton, Christine Krajcovic of the home and Diane (John) Hunter of Canton; granddaughter, Heather; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Logan and Rylie; special nephew and buddy, Joshua Carouthers; brothers, the Rev. Fr. Bernard, Peter, and Michael Krajcovic; and sisters, Maryann LeMasters and Patricia Barrick. There are numerous other family members surviving.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Louis Shaheen and the Aultman Hospice team for their loving care.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton with the Rev. Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held Thursday (tonight) from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
