Morris Taylor

TAYLOR, Morris Clark (Smoky), son of Marion Morris-Weber and Frank Taylor, died Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Waterman Hospital, in Tavares, Florida.

Smoky was born June 6, 1926 in Jefferson County, Ohio. He was a 50-Year Member of the Ironworkers Local 549, Wheeling, W.Va.

Smoky was known for his quick wit, always the life of the party, with outrageous pranks and a fun loving spirit. He never knew a stranger and left a lasting impression on people he met.

Preceeded in death by his mother/father and sister Irene Taylor Demore of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio.

Survived by sister, Jean (Jack) McClain of Grandville, Ohio; brother Phillip (Thelma) Taylor of Victor, Montana; son Frank (Brenda) Taylor of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; daughter Marsha (Bill) Goff of Apopka, Florida; daughter Autumn (Jim) LeBeau of Byesville, Ohio; long time friend and companion Margaret Sentieri of Leesburg, Florida and seven- grandchildren.

A Memorial to celebrate Smoky’s life to be announced.
