LUCKINO, Christina Ann, 64, of Wintersville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in prayer on Friday, January 25, 2013, at her residence, after a long battle with brain cancer.
She was born on January 19, 1949, in Steubenville a daughter of the late Carmen and Mary Kuhar Abdalla.
Chris was a member of the former Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Education and Vocational Economics. She worked for over 17 years as the text book manager at Franciscan University.
Chris is survived by her husband, Frank A. Luckino, Jr.; children, Joseph (Tiffany) Luckino of Wintersville, Magdalene M. Luckino and Carmen F. Luckino both of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Dr. Frank A. (Jessica) Luckino III of Stow, OH; granddaughter, Leigha Gampolo; siblings Carmella (Rudy) Menendez of Tampa, FL, Michael (Cecilia) Abdalla of Hammondsville, OH, Thomas Abdalla of Stratton, OH, Mary Ann (Dudley) Crawford of Hollywood, FL, Joseph (Shelly) Abdalla of Wellsville, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Sunday 1-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 852 Main St., Wintersville with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating.
Burial at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Wellsville, OH
Vigil services 3:45 p.m. Sunday.
