Wintersville Christmas Parade set for Nov. 25

WINTERSVILLE — The village is helping to kick off the holiday season with its annual Christmas Parade set for 3 p.m. on Nov. 25.

The parade will begin at site of the former Riesbeck’s store and move down Main Street ending at the Kroger.

According to officials with the village administrator’s office, the parade will consist of more than 30 groups and organizations.

The marching bands from Indian Creek and Catholic Central high schools also are scheduled to perform.

Other groups schedule to appear in the parade include the Ohio Valley Harley Owners Group 3881; Main Street Dance; the Ohio Department of Transportation; Neidengard’s Harley-Davidson; local fire departments, including the Wintersville Fire and Rescue Department; Powers Martial Arts; antique cars; and several churches and women’s groups.
