WVNCC offers mine
maintenance program
WHEELING — West Virginia Northern Community College will hold an informational meeting on its new mine maintenance program from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at its Wheeling campus.
In partnership with Murray Energy Corp., the program offers a two-year associate degree, with classes to start on Aug. 27. The deadline for enrollment is July 9.

Historical society
plans indoor rummage
NEWELL — The Tri-State Genealogical and Historical Society will hold an indoor rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the research room located in the old Wells School Building.
The building is located at 717 Washington St., lower level.
