First responders

The Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board is providing trays of cookies to first responders throughout the county this week in appreciation for the emergency medical services provided, especially in the area of opioid overdoses. Ambulance Service Inc. of Steubenville received the treats on Tuesday. Participating in the presentation were, from left, Daniel Obertance, prevention and recovery associate director; Lynn D’Anniballe, ASI vice president and co-owner; Andrew Mathieu, ASI emergency medical technician; Hunter Huggins, ASI emergency medical technician; Linda Ribar, ASI office manager and dispatch supervisor; and Maggi Campbell, prevention and recovery finance director.
