Input sought for opioid plan

CHARLESTON — The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources is seeking input for a plan to address the state’s opioid abuse problem.

With input from various medical and health professionals, the agency hopes to address early intervention, screening, treatment, recovery, maternal drug use, overdoses and related issues.

Comments may be submitted at www.dhr.wv.gov/bph through Dec. 30.
