October health clinics announced
STEUBENVILLE — The Jefferson County Health Department will conduct blood screenings from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A press release issued by the department said TB skin testing is available at the offices, located in The Towers at 500 Market St., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays.
Childhood and adult immunizations are available from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Patients should call the department at (740) 283-8530 to check if if the department is a participating provider.
Free HIV testing will be available from 9 a.m. to noon Friday in Room 704. Patients should call (740) 283-8530 to schedule an appointment.
Residents can register online for a baby firstname.lastname@example.org. Interested parents must watch a 10- to 15-minute Ohio syllabus, take a short quiz, print a certificate of completion and bring it to the health educator between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursdays to pick up a baby box. A flu vaccine clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Wells Township Municipal Building, from 10:15 a.m. to to 11:15 a.m. at the Tiltonsville Mayor’s office and from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Rayland Municipal Building on Wednesday.
A flu clinic will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Unionport VFD Social Hall.
Flu shots will be given at the Toronto Health Department from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. every Wednesday at the Toronto Health Department.
