WEIRTON — Brides-to-be from across the Tri-State Area won’t have to wait much longer for one of the region’s premier bridal shows.

The seventh-annual Sparkling Moments Bridal Show is set to return from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Jan. 29 at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville. Organized by The Weirton Daily Times and Herald-Star, this year’s event is presented with support from Hancock County Savings Bank.

The show will include a champagne luncheon, vendors, door prizes, a fashion show and taste testing.

Cathy Ferrari, president of Hancock County Savings Bank, said they are excited to be part of the event.

“It’s about love. It’s about marriage. It’s about family. It’s about community,” Ferrari said.

Other sponsors include Sorelle Bridal Salon, Piergallini Catering at St. Florian Hall, Fabian Formals of Hollywood and DJ Jonathan Mihellis.

Brides will be admitted to the show free of charge, and will receive a goody bag, lunch and door prizes. Brides must register ahead of time to attend, and can do so by contacting Maggie McGinnis, event coordinator for the newspapers, at (740) 283-4711, ext. 122. Admission for guests is $10, and tickets will be available at the door.

The fashion show, to begin at 2 p.m., will be presented by Sorelle Bridal Salon and Fabian Formals of Hollywood.

The grand prize for the event is a honeymoon trip to Cocoa Beach, Fla., courtesy of Todd Piergallini. Another bride will win an overnight bachelorette party at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.

McGinnis encouraged brides-to-be to get their tickets quickly, noting the show has sold out the last few years.

“Each year this event just grows,” McGinnis said. “It has turned out to be the event of the year for us.”

Vendor booths are still available.
