Marshall sells out pep rally
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) – Marshall University’s “Paint the Capital City Green” pep rally is sold out.
About 500 people are expected to attend the 17th annual event Thursday night at the Embassy Suites in Charleston.
Marshall football coach Doc Holliday and several players are expected to attend the event.
It also will include a tailgate spread, an appearance by mascot “Marco,” cheerleaders and members of the Marshall University Marching Thunder.
No tickets will be sold at the door.
