The break-ins occurred in the area of Cove Valley Estates, Kings Creek Road and Turkey Foot Road, prompting reports from 20 residents, Hancock County Sheriff Ralph Fletcher said.

The vehicles had their side windows broken and change and other items of value removed, Fletcher said. Two people were seen in the area at the time, but, so far, deputies do not have a description of the suspects.

Residents reported their vehicles vandalized and entered starting at 5 a.m. Tuesday.
