School board considers improvements, budget

CADIZ – The Harrison Hills City School Board heard an update on building improvements and cost-saving measures during Thursday’s meeting.

Director of Operations Ed Kovacik reported Johnson Controls will install 24 controls on radiators free of cost at the junior/senior high school to better control heat in the hallways. Kovacik noted this was an energy saving system.

The district also is looking at the cost of pipe insulation and the possibility of replacing old radiators.
