Hunter Montero, Chester, charges of underage consumption and obstructing an officer dismissed upon completion of 24 hours’ community service each.

Kace L. Shmigal, Chester, charge of possession of a controlled substance dismissed. Court costs paid, and no violations noted during probationary period.

Erica Massimiani, Cleveland, charge of domestic battery dismissed at defense counsel’s request and with no objection from the state.

Aug. 7

Joshua J. Heilman, Weirton, pleaded guilty to speeding. Fined $100 and assessed court costs. Charges of driving under the influence and obstructing an officer dismissed at prosecutor’s request.

David Cooper Jr., Hookstown, Pa., pleaded guilty to driving under the influence (second offense). Sentence of six months in jail converted to six months’ home confinement, with work release. Assessed court costs.

Christopher Lemley, Chester, pleaded no contest to underage consumption and was found guilty. Fined $50 and assessed court costs. Pleaded no contest to speeding and was found guilty. Fined $15 and assessed court costs. Charge of driving with a measurable amount dismissed at prosecutor’s request.

Brad Thornburg, New Cumberland, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. Sentence of 30 days in jail suspended. Fined $100 and assessed court costs. Speeding citation dismissed at prosecutor’s request.

Waylon L. Dye, Richmond, Ohio, charge of driving under the influence (third offense) dismissed and refiled as DUI (second offense), a misdemeanor to which he pleaded guilty. Sentence of one year in jail suspended. Placed on one year house arrest, with work release. Fined $1,000 and assessed court costs. Charges of driving on a suspended license (non-DUI), possession of a controlled substance and driving left of center dismissed at prosecutor’s request.

Aug. 9

Brandon Marker, Monaca, Pa., charge of burglary removed to Hancock County Circuit Court. Defendant waived preliminary hearing.

Malcolm Zimmerman, Weirton, pleaded no contest to battery and was found guilty. Assessed court costs. Charge of burglary dismissed at prosecutor’s request.

Kara Richmond, Weirton, charge of shoplifting (third offense) removed to Hancock County Circuit Court. Defendant waived preliminary hearing.

Casey Luyben, no fixed address, four counts of breaking and entering removed to Hancock County Circuit Court. Defendant waived preliminary hearing.

Michael T. Miller, New Cumberland, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Fined $50 and assessed court costs. Pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Sentenced to five days in jail, with credit for five days served. Assessed court costs. Charges of petit larceny (three counts) and shoplifting dismissed at prosecutor’s request.

Calvin Henderson, Canonsburg, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. Fined $100 and assessed court costs. Must pay $726.42 in restitution through the court.
